This was the week-end for Iowa youth waterfowl season and we finally made it out this morning.Cole was very sick on Sat. so we couldn’t get out,but he was feeling better today so out we went.The first place we stopped at he had a great shot on a specklebelly goose,his first goose!! 
He also got a blue wing teal later in the day.It was great day to spend with Cole.Here is a pic of his goose.

Atta Boy Cole!! Beautiful Specklebelly!! Not only are you one heck a terrific young angler, but now your becoming an excellent Waterfowler as well. I’m impressed. You just keep it up, buddy. Can’t wait to get back out fishin’ with you again, so you can give me some more tips. I know your dad is one proud Pappa and rightfully so. I’m pretty darned proud of you too, kiddo.
