I’ve been seeing small flocks (5-10) of geese flying up and down the river on a daily basis the last week and a half 
……and my buddy tells me our early season feilds are startin to get picked.
Only 28 days!!!! 
I had 50 or so in my pond last night. 
Spent the rest of the night playing with decoy’s, guns and the dog. Now i’m way to excited. Where will every spend early season opener?

There was a tremendous duck hatch in Roch. The lake has more ducks on it now than I’ve seen in the 27 years I’ve been around. I saw three flocks of about 12-15 birds flying over the ball field Sat. night. There also was a pretty nice goose hatch as well, a lot of big broods, so all is well down here.

We’re hunting river geese this early season

Found a large picked sweet corn feild with 80-100 using it tonight…went and asked at the farm house and got EXCLUSIVE permission for the whole season …also have some backup spots if the geese decide to start flying a different direction in the next few weeks……so we should be able to 
em

Pumped is right Jaker……
Was out chasing around a group of 50 or so last night and will be doing it again tonight to figure out there pattern. No fields being picked around here yet, but once they do it will be hammer time.
Until then hit the hay fields or ponds.
