After a few spring seasons I finally bagged a solid white goose. There aren’t very many here in the middle of nowhere Iowa, mostly because the lack of water, but we do see one or two every once in a while. I got one yesterday while hunting with Little B. The only one we saw. After closer inspection we noticed it was a Ross goose. Just wondering if they are as rare around here as I thought they were? I shot it a little ways south of Waterloo. It is a really pretty bright white goose and I stuck it in the freezer in case i might mount it because I’m not sure I will ever get the chance to shoot one again. Will have pictures in a few days.

Nick, head southwest about 100 miles to Ames or Des Moines and you will see more of these sky carp that you are talking about and I mean by the thousands. Seen a few flying the Mississippi River in past years as well.
