    Hey guys,

Finally got around to getting the pics off my camera from my trip to South Dakota last week. The trip was AWESOME once again!!! The geese were everywhere, and being that we were able to hunt durning the week, the hunter pressure was low.

I’ll just start throwin some pics up…..

here’s the pile through 3 1/2 days of hunting…..I think we ended up with 61 or 62 for the whole trip. We tried our darndest to get some over decoys, but the geese really wanted nothing to do with it. Only ended up with a few singles over the spread (900 northwinds and 3 dozen full bodies) ….the rest were taken on a varitety of sneaks and pass shootin. (didn’t get the cow to work this year either ).

An example of the enormous amount of geese in the area……

WOW, bet that was cold. Awesome pics, looks like a pretty decent trip, and a band to make it even better. DK

I agree with Brian, that is one ugly dog. I guess if he retrieves, then he’s probably a keeper.

I didn’t get out to SD due to work, or should I say work not going well…. Glad you had fun.

What town is the Corn Palace in?? Don’t say Mitchell either.

It can be very hard (and frustrating) to find the actual land owner AND find them when they are home…..but if you do, they’ll almost always grant you permission.

Like Jake stated, getting permission is almost a given. Finding the land owner on the other hand has a tendency to be a challenge.
