No peeps, I mean a magazine tube extension……Now it is going to depend on what type of gun you own, but I have a benelli and I have a 4 shot mag. tube extension on my gun to give me some shots when the flocks of 10-15K come landing on my head. You just screw off your regular cap and add this addition on with a different spring and you are all set. They run around $75 for a benelli, now I know not every gun manufacturer makes them, but it is worth the time in checking it out to see. Like my grandma says “the more the merrier”!!!

    check it out!!

I agree BM, why have only 3 when you can have 7? Although these are not for guys that like to conserve ammo, or shoot heavy shot. If the birds are working, it won’t take long to go thru a box of shells….about 3 flocks is all it takes! Wish I was going this year, but I’ll be stuck in the office. Only to be back in college again. Enjoy it while you can!!!! Good Luck. DK

Yeah i thought it would be a great idea to get a magazine extender for my remmington 870 express but it won’t accept it. I talked to remmington about it and they said they design some of their shotguns not to take it because of liability reasons. They put a couple of crimps or indents at the end of their magazines so you can put the extender on, but you cant put any more shells in the magazine. I still have to check and see if the remmington 1100 is the same way or not. Although my shotgut looks pretty cool with it on, but it doesn’t serve a practical purpose!!!

So before you buy a magazine extender for your shotgun make sure it will accept it.

since u guys are talkin about extension tubes, here is my Nova, ready to kill. And yes…….. i have duct-tape on it. I can get up to ten 2 3/4″ trap loads……. or seven or eight 3 1/2s for geese.

its the only gun i use, so it gets “occasional use”…..LOL

mud, how do you like the patternmaster? I shoot a lot of decoying mallards, but have thought I’d like a PM for geese and stuff. Do you use it all year? Early teal and woodies?

i use it later in the year when i am not shooting at woodies and teal etc. great for honkers and mallards IMO. but when i patterend it, it wasnt that much better than my standard modified choke….i love it, but not sure if it was worth the $$…theres some other chokes ive herd of that are pretty tight that i might look into when i get a differnet gun.

I was in Wtn last Friday for the day. I only saw one small bunch of snows right in town. I do have it from a reliable source that the Brookings area was full of geese, but they were high and headin to ND. My buddies thought most/all the geese would pass right through SD unless they got some stiff NW winds to slow them down.
