Ducks everywhere

    Just went by a pond on the outskirts of Hastings and much to my suprise was about 300 geese and a couple hundred Ducks. Pretty cool to see them dive bombing in from upstairs!

    As a Minnesota duck hunter all I have to say is, split season and north/south zones.

    Yeah it was kind of funny today. We were out fishing for eyes and there were ducks coming and going all over the place Oh well, maybe next year

    Just talked to a guy that was in Canada this past week and the duck population is unbelievable he said. Thousands and thousands of ducks and geese everywhere. He said the majority of the water wasn’t froze up like the northern/central parts of WI & MN.

    What we really need is a true winter. Just one time……

    I drive by that pond every day to and from work. If I was a photograher I’d sneak down there in the dark, set up, and take some fine pics. I hope they stay there awhile longer. Its a good start and end to the work day.
