Just a reminder to the WI duck hunters that the Pintail season is now closed. Also remember that the Canvasback season ends next Sunday (Nov. 14).
One final note, the swans are starting to make their way down and I saw a group of hunters draw down on a pair today. Luckily some well timed shouting saved them but I would like to remind everyone to be sure of their target before pulling the trigger. If you can’t distinguish the species let it go.
