This weather moving into the state should help with the migration. Everywhere from Winnipeg, Baudette, Bemidji and southward is going to get rain, snow mixture with a strong northwest wind.

Hopefully this will push some birds into the state.

Good luck guys and fave fun.

I sure hope so, because this last week was pathetic. Hardly any ducks moving again this morning (the reason I’m back at my computer by 10am ). I bet we didn’t here more than 25 shots from the whole swamp…..AND THE PARKING LOT WAS FULL!!! I guess everybody is thinking the same thing……to bad they were all wrong.

We did do a little better yesterday (6 ducks and a goose), but we hunted “the secret spot”, so we expected too. And at least we saw some migration going on yesterday morning……..this morning, NOTHING!!! not a single flock flyin south .

There does seem to FINALLY be some teal around…..which is about normal time for them to show up in numbers anyway. So I was able to waste some shells shootin at them this morning.

But who knows, it could all change for tomorrow with the wind coming in tonight. But I wouldn’t be gettin myself too excited .

I’m sittin this weekend out, due to prior engagements (yeah, I’m chasin the cocks ). But good luck to everyone else out there .
