I don’t know about you guys, but I thought that the 9am opener was sweet . Didn’t have to get up too crazy early and had just enough time to get out to the spot, carry stuff in, build a couple blinds, throw out the dekes, and have less than an hour to wait .

That noon opener crap was ridicoulus……but I really like the 9:00 time. I’d be happy if it was a 9am opener for the rest of my life

THANKS MN DNR!!! (it’s about time you did something right )

Now if they could bump back the opener a week or so or throw in a split, I might think about buying a stamp. I used to love hunting a late season. Seems like down here we miss some of the best shooting because our season ends so soon.

I agree with you 100 percent Jake. The 9AM opener was great and with the heat this year it was really nice to be off the water by Noon. The DNR gets a big pat on the back.

CAn you guys please contact the WI DNR and tell them of your experience so they can pull their head out of their rumps?
