Thanks for wrecking my post with your go devil discussion lol So I will ask again any waterfowl in the 5a pool area. And what will a 9:00 am opener do to the landing? Will most of ya sleep in till 7:oo am or will we still fight for position at 5:00 am?

I was out on 5a 2 weeks ago fishing at 6:15 am and was disappointed in the amount of ducks we saw. Only a few woodies, no mallards or teal.

I would think water levels will be ok, higher the closer you get to 5 with this recent high water. The south end of the pool will be low but not super low is my guess.

Sorry, that’s all I can give. PS, I will be out fishing 5a Saturday morning, don’t shoot me!!

May as well fish, my season don’t start for another week.

There were a TON of teal on the west part of Lake Onalaska a couple of weeks ago. I can’t believe with this weather they would have left. You may see some once the steel starts slinging.
