Go-devil vs. Pro Drive

I have started seeing a few of these new Pro Drive types of motors around lately and just want your opinion on which one is better. I have never been in a pro-drive so I can’t really say anything about them. It just looks like to me though that you wouldn’t be able to get out of some real shallow situations like you can with a go-devil or other long shafted mud motor. The leverage you can put on a go-devil really helps a person get out of real shallow areas after you get into them. Let me know your thoughts.

I just posted in the SE-Minn Duck hunt about this. They were discussing it in there too.

1 vote for the long-tails for me, only been stuck in my go-devil once because the rat-run went dry, and I surely don’t baby it (if there’s a beaver damn, odds are I’ve been over it).

Check Se-Mn Ducks like Duckilr said. I gave my 2 cents worth on there. Vote #2 for the long tails.

    Pitbull,

You say they don’t start up in the mud to well huh? That is a big conversation over in SE-MN Ducks thread.
