…so lets see some pics fellas! I know some of you were lucky enough to get out for the Wisconsin opener of the early goose season. The rest of us who are stuck at work would like to see some pics of the morning hunt. At least then we can daydream

Well as much as I’d like to throw a bunch of pictures up of me surrounded by a pile, 5 high of the elusive Canada, I just couldn’t seem to track them down last night. I have a couple spots, but they just aren’t finding them yet. I did see some, one flock in freshly chopped wheat feilds…the other flock I saw was on a freshly mowed grass (in town). Will be out tonight, chasing them again, hopefully tomorrow I’ll have some pics!

I was out on lower pool 2 last night. Honkers, everywhere.

Was thinking back to when I was a kid in WI. Back in the 70’s, it was rare to see geese. We used to get a kick out of seeing the flocks migrate in the fall, as you just didn’t see many. Now they are sky carp…

Nice hunt fella’s. Managed to get out and chase down 1 and a couple doves, but other than that not much else. Looks like you boys have this hunting thing figured out.

Was out this weekend both saturday and sunday. Boy she was a hot one, swatting mosquito’s in-between shooting geese. Ended up with 3 on saturday night, and 4 on sunday. Was by myself both days, but could’ve used a partner both days. Ended up hunting a mowed hay field, but I was a long ways from home, put on about 200+ miles by the end of the weekend….to me, for 7 it’s worth it.

Congrats on the kill duckilr I was out this weekend also and recorded my first jewel of the season. Can’t wait to get the info on it. It sure was hot out, felt like I should have been on the beach instead of the blind, but I would trade the beach any day of the week for a blind. Keep cutting em.

ok………… heres some more of WI banging. I think i spend more time hunting/scouting geese than i do in my college classes. Oh well

this was last sunday……… 3 of us had 11 by 7:45 or so. I am the one on teh far right with green paint on.

    Look CLOSE at the “decoys”………

odly enough, these geese were in an UNCUT oats feild…….but the outscirts were very thin and scrappy, and thats where we set up
