I SEE CABELA’S HAS A CHEAP STEEL SHOT SHELL ON SALE FOR AS CHEAP AS $5.49 PER BOX. CAN’T REMEMBER WHAT KIND THEY WERE. SOMETHING LIKE BLACKBIRD OR BLACK HORNET.
I DON’T CARE WHAT ANY ONE SAYS THAT’S CHEAP!!

The new flyer that just came in the mail the other day shows a brand called “WOLF”. Never heard of them, but at that price they are worth a shot!

I’ve shot “wolf” ammo before. But I can’t say that I have shot their shotgun ammo. The only stuff I shot was for the .45 Kimber. Just wanted some “plinking” ammo, and that was the cheapest on the shelf. I reload my own steel otherwise I’d pick up a box and go shoot some clays and pattern with it. If it doesn’t pattern out of your gun, might be wise to spend the extra dollar. Good Luck

I haven’t shot it, but a buddy of mine shot some Wolf ammo. He said the powder seemed really dirty…….

How bad is it, because I just aquired an AK47 and was going to buy about 500 rounds of it………..

I use Wolf out of my .223 for prairie dog hunting and it works just fine. Expecially fine since it is only 9 cents a shot. I will say on the other hand it is a little dirty, but then again if you are a true shooter you are cleaning your gun after every hunt anyways. I guess I shouldn’t say true shooter, but then again I haven’t seen a shell that doen’t leave your gun dirty. All and all it isn’t bad, not sure about the shotgun shells though. Guess you never know until you try it.
