ok…………. to keep it brief….. me an dmy buddy went to the dakotas last week. Left on Monday and came back on Friday. Ended up with 111 and one band between the 2 of us. it was an awesome trip. here are some pics…. sorry they are soo huge picutres….

on a side note………. this hunt wasnt easy…
I got a tendency to bust azz until i amlost die 
My buddy got dehidrated one day it was so warm too! it was mainly 60s and sunny…. little to no wind!
We did alot of belly crawling. I got a kick azz ghillie suit and that thing worked wonders. We snuk up on some flocks 40 yds away and watched more funnel in right infront of our faces. it was insane………. almost like decoying birds!!! 
LOL. some day i will decoy em… but right now, while i am young and stupid, i will keep sneaking them..,…. its alot of work…,…. but very rewarding.

well, its not totally homemade…… i baught the suit,
it was like a mini jacket with a cape, made for bellie crawling, then i cut off the cape, and glued/sowed the sections onto the back of some camo cargo pants, then got a thin camo jacket and did the same for the top “jacket” part.

wow you really wacked em…it looks like most of your birds are adults…ive never piled up taht many bet it was very fun…i also love the pump gun with the extender tube…how may 3″ you fit in that sob…what choke you got int hat benelli, asking cause i got the same gun in camo pattern, i have a briley’s goose choke and dumped a crip that skirted the decoys a long way out….i would have to guess it was 70 yards…i am always looking for new gadgets for the benelli…where were you hunting around in the dakotas?

u shuold see my Nova up close……….. its by far one of the nastiest guns i’ve ever seen There was cow crap still on my magazine extension from LAST year! 
The choke is a PatternMaster……… i’ve raked some geese hard with that thing! it shoots good with big loads (BB or BBB)….. But i think they are like 70$ I forgot how much… ive had it a while.
The extension is part custom…… There is only a 2-shot extension made for the Nova….. so i baught it. Then i had a guy i know, who is a gunsmith/school teacher, he made it into a 4 shot extension.

You gotta love those spring hunts, no plug, half hour after sunset. My best shooting always came on that last sneak. I can remember laying in corn stubble with 5k geese all around me still pillin’ in. Wow, got my blood flowing!! Thanks man!!!
