Thinking about trolling em up with my son this weekend on Lake Pepin. Now that most of the tournaments are over, does anyone have a report for this kind of bite? I’m wondering if it’s still a bit early… Thanks!

Ryan I was out yesterday and had 59.5 water temp. Fishing was alright, high winds. We need some warm days.

I’ve been watching the temps waiting for consistant lower to mid 60’s. I’m not sure when it’s going to happen.

Some years it seems like it takes forever!

I thought we were there around the MN opener.

Sorry for the delay, but better late than never correct? We made it out last weekend on Lake Pepin and caught roughly 40 fish total. We ended up keeping 1-18″ and 1-16″ walleye with 3 bonus jumbo perch. I don’t remember ever catching that many 12-14″ inch walleyes! Best luck was in 10-14 fow. Colors changed throughout the day with blue working best in the a.m. and firetiger in the afternoon. Good luck everyone!
