Trying to figure out which launch i should be using Sunday when I head out. I looked up the water temps on both the stillwater gauge and prescott gauge. it looks like still water is around 45 degrees, and Prescott is at 38.5. with the water warmer to the North do you guys think the bite will be better up that way? I assuming the cooler water at prescott is due to the ice pack to the north.

There is ice (LOTS) between Hudson and Afton as well as of this morning. I’ll be checking the St Croix Beach area after 4 today to see what’s cooking.

Well I didn’t take a photo because the ice around St Croix Beach was so grey it didn’t show up. Two maybe three days at best before that ice is gone.

looks pretty good between stillsville and Hudson. where to launch tho. the north Hudson landing looks pretty flooded. lakefront is a joke as always. maybe usable by the 4th of July
