Ok I checked faucet aerator and it had a few charcoal beads that’s it. I would assume they were there for long time when I installed my water filter. Didn’t see any rasin. You are right I’m not going to take the head of and wait for a couple of weeks for soft water to be at 0gpg.

Amen. You guys gave me more info than all other places combined.
Maybe a couple bags of the green Morton’s salt with iron out in it will clean things up in the heater, pipes and whatever.
are those available at Home Depot?

Now that you got that fixed go buy a new fishing pole with the money you saved.
