water ski shows

    Never been to one. been doing a fair amount of skiing and tubing last few weeks with the heat. Thought would be cool to check one out with the wife and kids. Any recommendations? live in Princeton.

    A very good friend of mine is a member of the Shakopee-Prior Lake Ski Association and does shows with the Shockwaves. They usually perform at the Quarry in Shakopee off 13. There is some serious talent required in many of the stunts they perform! Worth the drive from Princeton for sure.

    Twin Cities River Rats put on a great show on the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. Free, but they collect donations. I always donate. Our kids love it.

    I’ve seen the Shockwave perform, too. Both good options.

    Boat by these guys quite a bit. Looks pretty cool.

    Broadway pizza north up on east west river road few blocks has great grub too. Or if the kids aren’t with Jaros for a greenie, Betty dangers cross the street for the adult ferris wheel, or pycho Suzie’s for a tiki drink and scenery toast

    Little Crow Ski Team in New London, MN is very good and a fun atmosphere. I’m pretty sure there is a team that does shows on the Mississippi just north of downtown MPLS, off of Broadway.

    Little Crow Ski Team out of New London puts on a good show, too, but you need tickets.

    Been going to new London for many yes. Used to take my kids when they were little, now my teen aged grand daughters go with. Good Show. Maybe not the best? Idk. It has a lot of sentimental value to my kids.

    They used to win all the shows they entered… I used to work with one of the boat drivers who’s kids were in the show. Seen em years ago and they were good !

    bald eagle water ski club does one on Centerville lake every thurs.

    Princeton where? Doen here we have the Backwater Gamblers. They hold some World Records. I am not water ski savvy. But I know they are very good. Their shows are free.

    I have seen the Little Crow Ski Team a few times and it is always a good show.

    Thanks for the reminder. Now that I have kids, I need to bring them.
