I am about to load Up the boat and go fishing in the backwaters of the Mississippi River in the Wabasha Area. I was curious if the fishing is alright after all the rain this week. Let me know if you know anything. Thanks

Any time the water comes up over a foot the water clarity is going to suffer. Watch out for floating debris as well.

Water at wabasha is dirty. I’m still gonna try it tomorrow tho. If you see a guy out there with all ugly sticks , that’s me.

Fish are there regardless of water clarity. However, in a forage-rich system with so much area like Pool 4 your odds can really dwindle with drastic changes in flow.

I’m on the fence and may head out for a few hours tomorrow afternoon…with low expectations. I may also crack a bottle or two of bourbon with a couple area coaches in the basement and watch some football whistling

    Only time will tell

Water is dirty and plenty of debris. Fish are there but hard to convince to cooperate.
