This is a great post and it’s good to see the discussion of something that guys don’t like to talk about. My father had prostrate cancer and I know a lot of men from my hometown, small town in Wisconsin, that died of prostrate cancer. PSA may not be reliable but ignoring it won’t do much good. I had my first colonoscopy at 42, found a large polyp and removed it. Was required to have one every 2 years until they felt I could go to 5 years. My last one was in 2018 and it was doe without anesthesia, breeze. Because I was clean every time, I am on a 10 year cycle now. Cologuard is a nice thing but I believe it does not detect polyps, that’s a visual check. Sometimes I think of the convenience but then it’s not preventative.
