Was the Pond White or Grey

    On Monday evening or Tuesday morning?

    Platte/Sullivan and surrounding lakes were gray as of Monday evening. Having the surface be white significantly retards the melting process.

    What was very noticeable on my Monday morning drive across the north end, with the all the snow on the ice, the ice was pushed down so much, I could clearly see the south end from any vantage point as I made my way across. Never seen that before. peace
