Any updates on if they will get their higher hp ratings back on the 1890 and 1790 tillers?

Warrior has been mum on the situation. My gut feeling is no, things will stay the way they are. Something or somebody brought this on with the Coast Guard. Maybe a accident? Maybe a competitor complained? Maybe the government just now got around to them after all these years. Who knows.

You need to ask yourself though, who besides Mercury does the ruling benefit??

BTW, I believe in area 57, the JFK shooting, and Halliburton running the defense department. So I might be a bit of a conspiracy supporter.

Area 57? Is that like Heinz 51?

From what I’ve been told, the HP ratings will stay at 75hp and 90hp respectively with no change in the near future.

There is a new 90 hp E-TEC HO out now that is a very strong motor. Pushed the Ranger 618T over 40 mph and that’s not the quickest boat out there. Looks like this would be a great option for the 1890!
