Headed down to a location on P4 looking for a bluegill or something for the FGD to catch for her first wild fish.
Well, she did bring in a sheepshead but didn’t get too excited over it.

Motored over to the Harbor Bar harbor entrance and tossed out a rod with Sudden Impact and another with Secret 7, sat back and listened to the Reggae music. It wasn’t long and Ella had here first catfish bending the rod over.
Yes, not only did I need to support the rod but also to give her a little moral support.

The first fish was nearly 4 pounds and the second one was more Ella’s size at about a pound.

Too hot in the sun for all of us so we loaded up and headed to the Harbor Bar and it’s umbrellaed picnic tables for an early dinner… of you guessed it, walleye.

The Favorite Daughter caught this photo.

Awesome Brian! I have a few years until my daughter will be fishing with me but I can’t wait to get her in the boat with me! Good stuff!

You need to get that 8′ Bimini!

Sure could of used it on Sunday! Never thought I would like a bimini until it came with the Solera. Must have for summer daytime fishing!
