    Next week’s weather is not looking good for our ice. Talking about 48 degrees next Friday in southern mn and all week in the upper 30s

    My phone is showing -9 for a low on Tuesday in Alexandria. flame you had me excited for a minute. Itching to burn some diesel in my food plots.

    I notice that The Weather Channel says highs in the 40’s but Accuweather still lists pretty cold temps in the extended…i’m just hoping the weather can hold through walleye season, i’m itching to get to ML one last time for the GTG.

    Yeah who knows what it’s going to be like. It keeps changing. Now it says 50 for Friday February 17 but it could be 25. I don’t care I’ll drive North if I have to.

    We had close to two weeks here in Wisconsin where the temp never got below freezing and mixed in there we had rain. On the first day below freezing I drove my truck on the lake I fished with no problems. Just have to watch where the in-flowing streams are and be aware of any springs. In mid winter a three day stretch of 40 degree weather isn’t going to kill the ice. Use common sense and don’t be a brain dead cowboy and you’ll be fine.
