Anamosa 3/8

I drove up to Anamosa this afternoon–I had never been there before, so it was mostly about looking around. I fished the first current break below the dam on the west side for a half hour or so, but caught nothing. No one else was fishing, so I am guessing nothing much has been happening there.

I know a man that lives in Martell that swears the 1st week in april is the time to be there. Fish ranging from 12″-20″. Good luck

This time of year try further down in the park. By the golf course there is a creek that dumps in. Fish just down river from it. Northerns, walleye and smallies all sit in there
