Sorry, not a report, Just wondering if anybody catches any nice crappies or bluegills this time of year out on Wapo. I think some fish might hold in the shallows on the north end, but I would like some ideas before I go up there. Hope to see some reports.

    Thanks,

The north end is pretty decent this time of year seeing how the water warms so quickly. Haven’t been up there this year but have done well in years past. Usually start out using crawlers and crappie minnows, if the actions is slow I will downgrade to teardrops with waxies and smaller minnows.

Good luck and hope to hear a report from you if you go

Black and Chartruese tube jig with a chunk of crawler on it will get you some crappies. You can also tip with a chunk of Nightcrawler GULP and do just as well.
