I have some Cabela’s money and a couple gift cards worth about $150. With that in mind I thought I should spring for a new PDF and where else should a guy go to get the skinny good or bad about what they stock than IDO. I hope to be able to use it for open water and on the ice.

I assume I should be fine wearing it under my snowsuit jacket. Any opinions and feedback will be very much appreciated.

    One thought Twister,

Inflatables are so much more comfortable in the warmer months but can’t be worn under other clothing.

Might want to consider a less expensive Type III for winter months and a good Type V for the summer months.

    Just a thought.

    I’d contact Adobe.

    Sorry, couldn’t resist.

They have the Mustang H.I.T. Auto Manual PFD in red so it will match my snowsuit. And it is on sale, would it be a safe choice for summer and winter?

If you get it large enough to fit on the outside of your sno suit and still be comfortable in the summer months. (tight fitting)

Take your sno suit along when you try them out.

Back at I cast I got to see some of the new models coming out from Mustang. I don’t know the price points since I don’t rep any pad companies. But they had probably the best in comfort and mechanism.
