rock tamers lock nice but I couldn’t swallow the price of them. I made my own for 1/4 the price and twice as strong

I have a set of rockstar. They work well, and IMO are the best looking I have seen.

Does that type help with road spray as well, or just knock down rocks? I thought that bursh bristle type would be better on rocks, but would also like the mud flap effect so everything isn’t coated with road goo. Do they help?

If they are fitted correctly (long enough) they knock down most everything. Nothing keeps everything off but these do a great job on stones, mud, slush, etc. I love mine. Made in SD I think. I know the company is in SD. That is where they are shipped from.

I made my own as well. Much cheaper than buying and was a fun little project. I also had mine powder coated to help with rust prevention
