I posted this last fall but will re-post now that the ice is off the lakes. I am looking for an aluminum center console fishing boat. I know Lund made Alaskan CC model for a few years around 2000. I think they came in 18′ and 20′ models; my preference is an 18′ boat. If you are selling one or know of any around please let me know. Thanks!

There was one on craigslist awhile back. I think under the Green Bay area.

Thanks – I checked out Duluth, MN boat. Needs a little TLC and does not have live well which I need. Lund dealer said there is no place to add on a model this old so I need to keep looking. I guess the fun is in the search so I’ll be patient!

Holding out for a livewell on an Alaskan CC… That was an option on Alaskans in the first place, so how many were even built with this configuration in CC?

Since I’d have to think most Alaskan CCs were bought by either near-shore salmon, salt or GL anglers, or as work boats a lot of these guys never use a livewell. The salmon or salt guys, the fish either gets bled out and goes into the cooler right now, or it goes back.

Might want to talk to Lund and see first how many were even built with a livewell. Also, if there’s a compartment that is used for the livewell if one was ordered, does Lund still have the parts (or can you get them from the OEM) to add one?

Good tough boats, just saying it may be tough to find one with a livewell.

Just curious if you don’t mind me asking, why so set on a CC. I have a single bubble and love the space and layout and I do think about having a sweet CC for the GL some day. I’ve actually cuasually looked and the cost on some isn’t nearly as inflated as some of our local walleye boats (I’m not educated to know what I’m really looking at). I know the cc will have more cover, but last spring coho’n out of Duluth made me wish for a windshield. I felt bad for the person with me as they had to tuck in behind me as we ended up running a lot of miles. It was 80 in the cities and I didn’t really connect that the air temp on the water would be high 30s, so not fully a windshield issue….

Man,,,,,, I think you’re looking for a needle in a haystack. How long are you willing to let this search go on before you look for a different make/model rig?

I would think a good shop could fabricate exactly what you would like.

Custom fabricated center console is an option I’ve looked at but it would be my last choice based on cost and hassle factor.

Can you get an ssv with a cc?

When I was boat shopping the sales guy said the Alaskan was one of the boats they did the most quotes on and sold the least of. He said guys think utility boat bang for buck but they are expensive. Built solid though.

It’s been over a year since my first post. Still in the market for an Alaskan 20′ center console in decent shape. I’ve searched CL with frequency and haven’t come up with any that check all the boxes for me. Only want one with 4-stroke FI motor or I’d also take one w/o a motor. Thanks for your help!

Add “center” to the search otherwise you’ll get every Lund Alaskan posted. I see just two CC’s available and both on the east coast. Both 20’ers

There’s one sitting out on the south hill of Stillwater (Alaskan center console). Not sure about the livewell. Nice looking boat, but not for sale. I used to run by it everyday when I lived in Stillwater.

I am a Lund guy (on my 3rd) however I know Tracker makes some wonderful and affordable CC boats. My friend has a 21ft Tracker Grizzly CC and that thing is an absolute Beast, with a nice large livewell.

Just letting you know, a new Tracker 18ft may be comparable in price to a used Lund in the configuration you are searching for.

Update – after downloading old Lund brochures my preference is now a 20′ Alaskan with a center console, vs. previous posting regarding an 18′ model. I like the 20′ configuration better and it also came standard with a built in live well. I’m monitoring Craigslist and other websites as well as emailing larger Lund dealers. Please let me know if you stumble across one in good to above average condition. Thank you.

Did you check the craigslist posting I posted above? Looks like it is still available and by the description in very good condition.
