I believe Dutch already told you why people didn’t care about the lies YOUR KIND speak of.

If the economy was rolling like it was under trump then lie away Brandon!

As far as the POTUS and lying/bending the truth, sure seemed like just about everyone here looked the other way during the last administration, but seem to all of a sudden care about that stuff again.

You obviously havent been paying attention. Countless people here were calling out 45 for just having no dang filter and causing divide by what he would say.

I think Biden is an idiot and Trump is an arrogant jerkoff. I can say the job I have now is the same one I had before and I definitely lived more comfortable before. That being said they need to both go away and let someone that might live long enough to worry about what they do take over.

I read the other day there is talk of a third party if the 2024 Presidential Election if its Trump vs Biden again. Its called No Labels, and apparently about 70% of the voting population would consider casting a ballot for it. I don’t know how much truth there is to that, but that says a lot if 7 out of 10 voters in this country don’t care for either candidate.

I am sure there will be an Independent on the ballot.. there always is, as well as Green party etc. It’s the scenario that got Jesse Ventura elected… people were fed up with the 2 parties. With Coleman and Humphrey beating each other up, Jesse garnered only 37% and won.

I dont think there is a chance that an independent will get elected President. There is never one strong enough to pull voters from both parties they usually just screw it up for one or the other.

I was about to type the same thing. Someday maybe. Name recognition just won’t be there because they won’t have the big-party money for ads and mailers. They likely wouldn’t be invited to debates because they’re not registered, and many times you need to be polling above a certain percentage to be invited to a debate. Plus as we sit here 15 months away from the November 2024 election there are millions of people on both sides who already know who they’re voting for so it’d be an uphill battle. Someday hopefully but not the 2024 one.

I believe the days for debates are numbered. Candidate can get their message out a lot of other ways. And “Party Leaders” have everything to lose if the botch a debate. Why do it?

Don’t forget – Walz never showed up for all of his debates on his last run….

Agreed. Well stated. Agree on a 3rd party candidate too. But can’t they come up with a better choice than Dean Phillips?

Dean Phillips is a Democrat considering a run against Biden. Not 3rd party.

Clearly- the Biden admin has broken this country. Trump mean tweeted, arrogant, aggressive…. Agreed
He SMOKES Biden by a galaxy. I watched a young girl interviews on on tv just now who said “ I don’t care if he’s mean, or tweets what he thinks or seems arrogant, I care about the money in my bank account right now and someone who can fix that” ( I paraphrased as I was busy yelling to my wife telling her this girl should be required viewing for the nation. )

A couple of the individuals considering a third party No Labels candidacy is Larry Hogan, former Governor of Maryland, and Joe Manchin, Senator (Virginia). Hogan is a moderate conservative and Manchin is a moderate liberal. I’d vote for either one of those guys WAY before I voted for Trump or Biden.

I’ve liked Hogan for awhile but today’s Republican party base is so extreme and far right that people even remotely moderate are cast away as RINO’s. In 2016 we could have had a well-spoken, decent conservative man in Ohio Governor John Kasich as the Republican nominee as well, but too many voters worshipped Trump.

There is already a better Dem candidate than Biden or Philips. Bobby Kennedy Jr. Ive been bringing his name up quite a bit locally and I get “I dont trust the Kennedys”. I asked do you actually trust ANY politician?

Trumps a businessman, and running for reelection will help immensely with financing his legal woes, whether he wins or loses its a win for him.

Ben Shapiro on his podcast has it right, the main objective is to get Biden out of office, and nowhere is any data to show trump can do that. Considering the pile of garbage that’s been added on top of his big pile already you’re smoking crack to think he’ll win this round.

    4 more years of Biden

I agree Biden has to go.
I said from the start we can’t afford him – I meant that literally. He is killing our current and our future financially – period.
Trump – would rather not have him as the front runner.
I liked him because he was NOT a career politician but EVERYONE brings their own baggage to the party. He is at least strong USA and not a party puppet.
Biden has go to go. Watching the debates last nite I don’t know what to think.
If Trump gets in it will be four years of punishing the Democrats and we need need 4 years of leadership, not retribution ( well, a little retribution might be nice) but we need to get back on track with the economy, our border and our foreign policy and education.

Bidens mind is already a bowl of oatmeal… NO WAY he makes it another 18 months. As bad as they are trying to keep Trump out… should give you a hint as to why he is needed. Imagine him weaponizing “HIS” DOJ like this administration has… there would be hundreds of politicians brought up on treason and high crimes and misdemeanors for sure.

This is why I’d prefer to not see Trump as the nominee. He isn’t going to beat Joe in the general election. When he loses, the same nonsense about the election results will re-appear too.

I believe that another candidate could though. 75% of the country does not want to see Biden vs Trump again. We already know Biden is one of the candidates, so if the other one isn’t Trump, there would be a much better chance of voting that person in instead.

At this point I’m not sure who on that stage it could be. At one point I thought it could be DeSantis because he was close enough in the polls to catch Trump. Not sure that’s the case anymore.

People are sick of these two candidates which I why a third one under No Labels might actually have a reasonable chance.

There won’t be bc this round won’t be as close, which will only cement the ridiculousness of the last elections debacle.

Republicans really need to get their $hit together bc this trump Era needs to end. Alot of us out there who can’t vote for trump again, and certainly not going for oatmeal brain(new favorite analogy)
