April 9th Full Throttle Cancelled

    Hi Full Throttle followers,
    Unfortunately due to flood conditions on the Mississippi River now we are forced to cancel the April 9th tournament for the safety of our anglers. Any deposits will be credited to another tournament. Next one is scheduled for May 21st on pools 3 & 4 of the Mississippi, which should be a great one after the water comes down and the fish had some down time. Let’s make that one a huge event by inviting all friends and fellow anglers. Thanks for your understanding, and share in our prayers for the people along the river as they fight through this challenge.

    Always a tough call. But sooner the better so guys can make other plans or cancel vacation days.

    Very tough call, but definitely the right call to make Craig.

    As much as some of us are itching to get out and fish a tournament next weekend, this is the right thing to do. You always have to go with your angler’s safety first, and the river doesn’t allow any room for error when she’s running this high.

    Thanks for making the call that I know is right, but I personally would be too stubborn to make for myself. I hope you find another date that will work out better for both safety as well as for the fish cooperating too. When you do, I’ll be there.

    What are the chances of getting it re-scheduled for ohh say the 23rd??

    since permits are involved I would think rescheduling would be a pain in the arse if it is even possible.

    They can re-schedule if all slots are not filled for that month, Im assuming since tourny was cancelled in April, there would be open slot for April…
