Metro fishing league?

    Anyone familiar with or ever fished the Metro Fishing League. I see their 1st contest is on pool 2 the beginning of May.

    Their website says “Pool 2 Inver Grove Heights”. I wonder where they’re launching? The 494 access is in South St. Paul.

    Would guess Lions. Didnt really follow the points system they are running either. This is explained in the rules section. Also didnt think tournament permits for pool 2 where very easy to get if you even could. Thought those ones that had taken place on 2 where small and skated in under the wire.

    Five weeks before the first event, it does not look like they have one:

    2011 Permits

    Been trying for years to get one. Would like to know what up with that.

    Does anyone know Jason Reynolds? No phone number on the site and the e-mail address listed is not valid.

    $200 entry with a 100% payback. Would need more info.

    I missunderstood how this was set up. The entry is for the season. So $200 divided by 4 events divide by 2 person teams is at $25 a guy each event. So no permit is needed.

    Guess I was just interested on jumping in the pool 2 event.

    Heck I thought it was $200 a event to. Do you know if a guy can get into just one event? Maybe just donate the money for that event to compete against the other guys. Dont care about the $25 to get in it would just be fun to have a little tournament on pool 2 again.
