P14 Charity Walleye Tourn for Sat. is still On.

Just in case folks are wondering. The river is going to drop a couple more feet between times, but we’re going ahead with the tournament. If you’re interested, drop me a PM or show up at the Albany public ramp no later than 6:30am for the rules meeting. The proceeds from the tournament go to the Mississippi Eco-Center at Rock Creek. Its a Catch, Photo, release tournament, so if you’re not familiar, PM me and I’ll send you a pamphlet. You need a digital camera or video camera to participate.

well did anyone catch any who won tx

Jeremiah Haas won with a 5 fish limit that measured 275 cm . I came in second with 5 fish 251 cm. The big fish was Jeremiah’s 64 cm fish that is about 25.5 incher. Jeremiah’s average was 21.6 inches. My average was 19.8 inches. We need to get everyone to show up and fish this event next year. It was a good time despite blasting off in a thunderstorm. With the river being as screwed up as it is, the bite really was not to bad. Here is a picture of one of the fish getting measured on the offical tournament boards.

I had a lot of fun and I hope everyone else did as well. I’m thinking Oct 1st or 8th (before Duck Season)next year. When the typical tournaments come to town, they really aren’t able to enjoy the big numbers of large walleye we have locally. Thanks again to the guys who didn’t let a lot of rain and lightning slow them down. Hope we have ten times as many boats next year.
