Another great Full Throttle event on pool 4. What a basket of fish for Tommy and his partner. Great job by Everts and all the crew on hosting the event.

These were the presentations that were mentioned: trolling, rigging and 3-waying live bait, dragging, and pitching

As good as Tommie is he also had a partner. Just thought Jeff Lahr out of Dubuque might want a little love also. Great job guys thats one hell of a catch.

Way to go all! It was a fun day and very interesting day weather wise. It was a fun day of fishing. Sure wish I hadn’t lost that big fish. I will go over that in my head several time to try and figure out what I did wrong! If only it had been closer to the boat Jessie would have jumped in after it!

Well, Mr. Skarlis demonstrated why he is one of the best in the world-great guy and just as nice in person as in front of the crowd. His partner was absolutely no slouch himself and an old river rat from the Dubuque area. A wise person once told me that a river guy can catch fish anywhere–well, two ole river guys came up here and did a good job-even if their prefishing involved morel mushroom hunting on Friday!!

i know that a lot of tactics were employed in the tournament. but did they divulge if a certain presentation was the “go-to” to put the big fish in the boat? something obviously worked well to put that big of a limit in the boat.
