Team registrations are still being accepted for the Alexandria Chain of Lakes Spring Walleye Classic set for June 4-5 in Alexandria, MN, and the Lake Minnewaska Fall Walleye Classic set for Sept 11-12 in Glenwood, MN.
Teams have the option of paying either a $350 entry fee per tournament, or a $400 entry fee per tournament. Teams that pay the $400 entry fee and finish in the top 20% after the two tournaments qualify for the “no entry fee” year-end championship, the Fins & Feathers Outdoor Challenge, held Oct 16-17 at Buffalo Ridge Resort, in Gary, SD.
The Fins & Feathers Outdoor Challenge features a Day 1 competitive pheasant hunt, followed by a Day 2 walleye tournament. Points are combined from both days to determine the overall Outdoor Challenge winning team, and the overall individual winner
Guaranteed $6,000 first place payout at the Spring and Fall Walleye Classics with a 75 team limit at both tournaments.
We are anticipating another great bite at this year’s Alexandria Chain Spring Classic. 4 teams surpassed the 20-lb. mark last year for single day weights, with two of the four teams going over 21-lbs. for single day weights.
