1st Day (April 24th) Flighting Determination Explanation
Due to angler input, we have determined to put a system in place to ensure fairness in determining flighting-order for Day 1. This system takes into consideration anglers past participation in the LPO, which is very important to continuing the vitality of this tournament. Below is the new system:
• The Frontenac Sportsman’s Club will mail out entry forms to all past participants on January 11, 2010.
• The Public will be able to print off entries at IDoFishing.com beginning January 14th.
1) All Entry’s Postmarked between January 11, 2010 & January 30, 2010 will be placed in a drawing. This drawing will determine the first wave of boat #’s for day 1 flight-out.
o IF you were an entrant in the Lake Pepin Open in 2009, you will have an additional chance in the drawing. For example: IF John Doe fished in 2009, his / her teams name would be on 2 tickets. IF your team did not fish in 2009, then your teams name would be only on 1 ticket.
o As long as one person from your team fished the 2009 LPO and has signed up for the 2010 LPO, then you will get 2 tickets.
o Drawings for the 1st wave of boat #’s will be held at B-Wells in Frontenac at 6:00 PM on January 30th. A non-tournament angler will be drawing the tickets for flighting order.
2) All Entry’s received between January 31st and February 28th will be placed in the 2nd drawing. This drawing determines the 2nd wave of boat #’s for day 1 flight-out
