Please mark your calendar. The 2010 Lake Pepin Open will be held on April 24th & 25th, 2010. The have been some changes made; we lowered the entry fee; increased the payout to 90%; the field will be limited to 50 boats & we have established a drawing system for flighting order. Teams that participated the previous year will receive preference points for the drawing system. We will be mailing out entry’s in January and all the new changes will be explained at that point.

    Date: April 24th & 25th, 2010

    Location: Pool 4 only

    Cost: $220 (2-person teams)

The LPO will again be a Cabela’s National Championship Qualifier.

Mark these dates on your 2010 calendar!

I appreciate the club making that tourney more affordable in these tough economic times, I expect to see a really good turn out for this tourney which will probably result in some good payouts as the number of people will hopefully increase.

Not yet Eric. They did confirm with us last week however that the LPO is still a qualifier. Last year we received 6 spots. I am thinking that we will probably be the same. IF they do not fill the NTC by a certain date, then they will give additional spots to qualifiers if requested, and we can definitely do so if teams want. I will keep everyone posted.

This is a very good tournament to fish guys. The guys that fish it every year have been doing so for many years. Its at a good time for good chances for hooking into some nice fat walleyes. You will enjoy it.
    Thanks, Bill
