I’ll be heading up Saturday too, just to tail-pipe you two!!LOL What do you mean no driving..? I’m a very good driver! I even made sure to have a lot of tread on my tires this year…probably too much – I may need to work some off!!

    1st) Rick Amundson/Tom Briggs (Owner Wigwam resort) 45.24 for 12 fish (3 over 28″). 2010 Skeeter 1850 ($35,000)

    2) Adam Laidlaw/Chad Carlson 38.09 for 12 fish (2 over 28″ Friday -) and 11.91 for slot fish day one. ($10,000)

3)Mike Christensen/Eric Nesius. 36.65. Big fish both days and nice slots. $6,000

    4) Joe Henry/John Lund. 35.77. 2 big fish day 2 and nice slots both days. $4,500

    5) Chief/Dan Dickmeyer. 33.99. Big fish both days and nice slots.$3,500

    6) Todd/Diane Warmbold. 33.54. Big fish both days and nice slots. $2,500 (also took home Couple of the year!!!) Congrats Todd and Diane!!

I just got back from the party so I’m not going any deeper but there were 14 big fish weighed day one and 16 weighed today. My boat caught more than 300 fish in 6 days of pre-fish and tourney, and that was pretty average. It was absolutley unreal fishing at LOW.

Many years at the MTT Championship at LOW, 20 lbs would get you a VERY nice check, this year, 20.01 got you 52nd place (out of 74 teams). That’s how good it was!!!

The bite is/was hard to imagine……There were 813 fish for 1,645.49 lbs caught (74 teams, 6 fish per day, 2 day total). If you have any chance at all to get up here, do it!!!.

Congrats also to Mike and Mark Bujarski for their Lindy Team of the Year title ($3,500). A well deserved title, “the brothers” have been close for quite a few years and this year pulled it out. Way to go guys!!

The tourney year is over, time to get the stick baits and guns out!!

Thanks guys, Chad and I got really lucky to catch a couple big ones on the right day.

It was just unreal how perfect the weather was and how good the fish were biting. Even without the tourney, it was one of the funnest fishing trips I’ve ever been on.
