Hello everyone,

I’m sure some of you have seen my posts around the site the last few years, but let me formally introduce myself. My name is Justin Schneider, and I am a 25 year old fishaholic from Oakdale, MN. I mostly enjoy fishing for walleyes, and love to compete in the various walleye tournament circuits we have here in MN. I also spend a lot of time bowhunting in the fall months and have a passion for outdoors.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 2006 with a B.A. in Sales/Marketing. I then started my insurance career with Liberty Mutual insurance in Woodbury, MN. After working with Liberty for a little over 2 years, I made the decision to leave the company I was with and open up my own agency. The goal was to build an agency that would allow me to spend more time in the outdoors and less behind a cubicle.

The Justin Schneider Insurance Agency opened its doors in April of 2008, and has been growing ever since. The agency primarily offers products for Farmers Insurance, but also offers specialized lines of insurance such as Anglers Advantage. Our agency offers Auto, Home, Marine, Business and Specialty Lines of insurance.

In February of 2009, I was able to establish a relationship with Anglers Advantage insurance to offer their specialized marine products to customers in the Midwest. Shortly thereafter, an agreement was made with In Depth Outdoors to become a site sponsor. This was a personal milestone for me, being able to offer such a highly regarded product to a group of fellow outdoorsman.

I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the outdoors. I wasn’t sure how I was going to get there, or what I was going to do, but I knew that was my goal. I now feel that my dream job is complete and I have a meaningful career in the outdoors by helping fellow sportsmen safeguard their possessions. I am proud to say that I am able to give back to this great site that has helped me learn so much over the past few years.
