    We will be having another contest in less than two weeks on Tuesday, July 21st on Pool 2 between the hours of 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Entry fee is 10.00 and can be done at the shop prior to close of business on Monday, or meet up with me at the 494 launch after the contest. You must call and talk to me prior to the start. ALL PICTURES MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THIS POST FOR JUDGING, with measurements of length and girth. They must be submittted by 9:00 am Wednesday morning. The control item will be given out over the shops’ voicemail at noon on Tuesday.

    Here are two that by partner Mike V got tonight. The first is a 28″er that came on a crank. The second is a 28.5″er that came on a jig and a leech.

    Nice fish! Joe and I got a 26.5″ at about 9:10pm and a 25″ within the regular hours that flopped out of the boat, but those were the only fish over 22″.

    here’s a 27.5 that my buddy Stew got. I thought with the lack of bigger fish caught as of late Stew had a really good shot at taking this one home. Well done Jake and partner.

    Mike and Stew those are some nice fish, congrats on putting some nice ones in the boat.

    We were there pre-fishing but had to leave early due to improper clothing. We did manage a few sheephead on fatheads but that was as far as we got.

    Hope to do this again on a nicer day, thanks for coming out and particapating.

    I heard that Mike W accidentally caught a fish when he set his rod down.
