The first AIM event is this weekend, I hope it takes off, exciting to see another curcuit and a new format, just imagine the weight CRR could muster on POOL 3 and 4 weigh your best 5

Kirt – they are weighing their 7 best at Saginaw… And on the river you can weigh your 5 best. Think what the weights might be when Mille Lacs is hot…..

Sure hope this gives tournament anglers more opportunity to spend big money catching walleyes….

Slot tournaments s_ck and many anglers (including myself) aren’t even interested….. Your odds are better playing on-line poker…. IMHO

What about Pool 2? That would be a fun event to follow.

Pool 2 is not big enough for a event like this. Pool 3 or 4 would be much better suited for it.

Maybe I’m not thinking this through but why would an event like this need to alter the # of fished weighed per tournament? It’s all C-R-Release!

For consistency, shouldn’t they pick the same number for all events?

Maybe 3, 4 and the Croix would be a good mix for it. There’s no need for this on pool 2. Those guys find plenty good fishing on the pools south of 2. Why would they want to come up there now?

    Hi Guys,
Just got back home from the event. In all of the years I’ve fished, I can’t remember a better time. The CRR went fantastic, the fish were easy to process, and with this system I actually feel more secure in my weight than when the fish are jumping around during the weigh in process. All of our events are 7 fish. This allows for more fun, better competition, better ability to come back and more excitement. Truly over three days the best angler with the best fish will win… not the lucky guess or right order of fish. And I agree… just think of the possibilities on most bodies of water we fish. Guys, the fun is back in town. Tournament competition has never been better and I would encourage any and all to fish our events as a pro or a co. Green Bay is next and I can’t wait to start… no worries about upgrading! YIKES!!!!!
