The Cedar Valley Walleye Clubs second tournament was held Sunday April 19 at Clear Lake. With last year’s results of all most every team having a limit, most teams had high hopes going into this tournament. Well as luck has it, things change and so do lakes. A large cold front, rain, and 20 mph north winds made fishing Sunday even harder.
The team of Carl Teske/Vern Fisher had the winning fish at 3.28 lbs. The Team of Larry Schilling/Jerry Schilling took second with 1 fish at 2.02 lbs. The team of Dave Asche/George Schaefers took third with one fish at 1.42 lbs. The team of Terry Blank/Mike Beener took fourth with one fish at 1.10 lbs. Doug Bonwell, Greg Mahlstedt, Harry Borwig, Russ Cobb, Todd Borwig, Dave Merron, Walt Ertz, Walt lattimer, Kurt Roose, Kyle Roose, Lynn Bibbler, Matt Vlasak, Russ Vlasak, Jim Dengler, Tony Jochumsen, Bob Stewart, Al Clausman, Kyle Colbert, Adam Bentz, Jim Allen, Greg Dietz, Arron Peterson, Teri Peterson all with fifty show points.
    Total fish weighed 4
    Total fish weight 7.82 lbs
    Average fish weight 1.95 lbs
Next up is Rathbun Lake Saturday May 16. Points standing are posted on the web site.
    Thanks
