I think it’s abundantly clear this is a faith based organization. Not sure why you would even enter if you didn’t feel this was “appropriate”?? Not knocking you for having an opinion, but seems like a silly complaint if you go to the website.

Well I learned about it at a show and this aspect of the series was not even hinted upon in our conversation. I believe it was Mark that I talked to. He just asked a couple of questions about what type of boat I ran, and if I fished tournaments, and wondered if I was interested in his series. He gave me the website address and I checked it out. I regret my post, because it didn’t come across like I wanted it to. My point was that he should make it clear that it is a faith based series, and his post made no reference to that at all. I am sorry if I offended anyone that was not my intention.

We are faith based. No matter what you believe or not you are invited. Our meeting is at New River Assembly of God Church Friday April 3, at 6:00pm in Red Wing. Registration starts at 5:30. Hope to see everyone who likes to fish tournaments there.. If you would like to fish the tournament call 763-486-7508.

I fished the WI circuit last year and feel these guys ran top notch team tournaments. Great format to get my son started fishing tournaments with me. I never felt like anyone was trying to push anything other than the opportunity for some fun competitive fishing. Just like a lot of things, you can take from it what you want. If what you want is an opportunity to fish with the partner of your choice and test your skills against other anglers, it’s available. If you want a free meal the night before the tourney, it’s available. If you’re looking for faith based oportunities, it’s available. Fish them if you like, and take what your comfortable with from them. My son I will be fishhing the WI side again.
