Unless the fishing picks up I dont think it will be to crowded and they will be welcoming the tournament angler with open arms. They may even give ya a big hug just for showing up.Last year I had a hard time just spoting a boat on the water most times not that I am complaining.I might just fish some of these with my Grandson.Heard they are pretty well run and maybe I will get to church more than once a year It might not hurt for me to pray to catch fish after last year

I haven’t had time to confirm all the dates, but I’m pretty sure one of those dates is the same weekend as the Red Door Tournament, and I think another could be the same Saturday as the Hunter’s Tourney.

If its the same dates as last year Hunters should be on 6/19 & 20.Not sure when the Red Door is.

Red Door is always the weekend after the 4th of July.

The first one is the weekend after Hunter’s, second is in conjunction with Isle Days, and the third is along with Wahkon days. I’ve heard ice fishing has been better than last year from a couple guys so hopefully that carries over into open water this year.

Are the second and third in “conjunction with” or just the same weekend as, both Isle and Wahlkon Days?

It is a fact though that the 11th is the Saturday of the Red Door tournament.

Both circuits are sponsored by Ranger so they can support Full Throttle’s team format and the Pro/Co FLW tournaments. Stop up next Saturday @ Frankie’s in Chisago, it should be a good time.

See the one out of Red Wing is during the peak of the spawn. That should go over well with the local’s that value the eggs those big females will end up dropping in the livewells.
