Any tournements this fall on the river?

    Are there any good fall tournemants on the river this fall? Next 3 weekends are booked up with the family

    That’s the last one I know about.

    I sure wouldn’t want to have to fish a tournament through the usual slow down that occurs in late summer/early fall. Go back and look at the MWC results from last year….nearly half the field had 0, 1, or 2 fish for a 2-day event in mid-September.

    Frontenac I believe is the 12th of August. That is only 3 weeks away though.

    The Grummpy Old Men tournament is this Saturday out of Wabasha, Mn. Rules meeting is tonight. There are the monthly Walleye Searchers tournament through November and the membership fee is only 25.00 per year and no entry fees. Check the tournament forum often as people will talk about upcoming tournaments and the thread https://www.in-depthoutdoors.com/community/forums/reply/walleyehq_556716/ at the top of the tournament forum has a list of different tournaments and anyone can list their tournament they are having or that they know of right on the thread.

    Hold this date open. Saturday October 20th will be the second annual “Saugerama” at Everts Resort. Same format as last year. Official announcement will be made after the tourney permit is received.

    Basic Format. Not finalized but will be very similar to last year.

    $50 entry fee. (Ramp fee included)
    2 person per boat teams.
    7:30 am – 3:00 pm.
    8 fish – all fish must be saugers.
    Pool 4 only.
