    A big congrat’s goes out to Kevin Velaruis for the 16th place finish in Bay’s De Noc! Great job Kevin!!!!

    And also great job goes out to Scott Stiel and Kurt Turner for making the top 50 for points and will get an invite to Cleveland for the Championship in Sept!

    Thanks guys!! It was 40 mile trip one way, in some tough conditions. Pulling spinners in 27 to 22 fow with willow &colorado blades. Pre fishing we pull 3 10# off this spot with no slots. Each day did not get 1st fish until 12:30 to 1:30, my co’s were getting a little nervous but u had to grind it out. U had to get every bite to the boat because there weren’t many. My 1st time out there was a learning exprience for sure , that water can get nasty. I finish 78th for year not were I wanted to be but will take it for my 1st year. I learned alot, expienced alot most good some bad. So u guys who think it is easy please join us and talk to us after 1st year!!

    Nice job at BDN. Sure was envious of the hogs that you brought in each day. Just one more of those and things would have been a bit more relaxed waiting for Day 4 to finish up…… I think your comment about ‘there was a lot learned’ really hits the nail on the head for me as well….. I really got lucky and lady luck was riding in my boat to make it in the 50th slot. Good fishing… Kurt
