    Nice Eyeball,

    First off, Welcome to IDA

Chad’s comments were only directed towards me… and I don’t think there is any need to come down on the guy when he has already apologized. Right or wrong… he admitted that his mind was elsewhere. If I can offer to buy him a after this thread… then I think we can all come down a notch. My original post was an honest question, it was misinterpreted… and it has been cleared up.

Nice Eyeball, please stick around and post more often. From the sounds of your post, you have been lurking a while!!! Look forward to hearing reports or tournament experiences from you!!!

I can admit when I’m wrong. I have been told I can be a dink sometimes, so this was one of those times I guess. It seems I misinterpreted Dave’s intentions, but you have to admit you sure came across as wanting to fizz no matter what. I’m sure that you and I would get along famously if we fished together and you fish half as hard as Glenn. I welcome anyone into my boat who has a positive attitude and is prepared to fish hard all day. We may not win, but there won’t be another boat on the water that fishes as hard. I haven’t had any complaints yet. Just don’t try to fizz our fish!!!!

P.S. There are a lot of bad fisherman out there with sponsors. Sponsors are not hard to come by, and don’t mean a darn thing. I’d rather not deal with the hassle, and honestly don’t think I’ve done anything to deserve a sponsor anyhow. I’ve just been lucky so far this year.

Thank you for the welcome to IDA and Fair enough Hunter88, I like your passionate responses and can tell you are a “top shelf” competetor. I hear you on the sponserships, and if you can fly solo on that aspect, you are a head of the game, Thank you for clearing the air and I too will buy you one when our paths cross, seriously, NICE WORK on MilleLacs.

See??? This is how it starts… First I buy you a beer… then you buy me a beer… Then Eyeball buys us a beer… then the beer just seems to magically refill… my credit card goes maxed out… and I wake up late for takeoff. ugh!!! Happens to me every time

Dave your questions are valid ones.Mike’s response really somes it up. He is truly a stand up guy. I tell my co-angler’s that we function as a team and just relax and lets go fishing. The more you get into a team atmosphere the better off you are and function as a team. The words Pro, and Co are gone after the rules meeting. I think this sets the tone for a good day on the water. My only requirement is that my partner for the day respects my equipment. Again I am my sole sponsor and I make peanuts compaired to some guys so I cant afford to have damaged items. I do actually have my partner involved with some of the decisions. Example would be: If my partner wants to go for the win or do you need to place comfortable for points. I guess what I am trying to say is that you are a very valauble asset in the boat and every bit involved with fishing the best that we can. Mike is right that positive attitude is the key ingredient.
    p.s.
If all you guy’s are going to have some beer ,I better drive. Hunter cant drive a boat let alone drive a vehicle.LOL

Very funny Johnny. I never said I was drinking you ignorant wretch. I just said I was buying. We’ll find out how well I can drive your boat tomorrow. I hope your insurance is up-to-date! Watch out Bemidji, here we come.
