How many people are fishing the whole schedule? Stickboy and Gator are you fishing the remaining two? My luck finnally went sour down in Red Wing with a big Goose egg (0) . So now I can forget about the points championship and concentrate on trying to win the last two. I am going too need some help here. I will have to get Dusty to touch my boat and bring me some luck. Good job Hunter88 on your 5th place finnish.

It was a tough bite, you are not the only one that did bad down there. Hopefully there is a good bite at the next 2.
Good job to all the Ida’ers that did well and Great job Chad on the 5th place finish.Mike
May 4, 2007 at 1:43 pm #567816I also got the goose egg as a co angler and just got the new boat in so it is looking like I am done with FLW for the year and plan to fish all the local Pool 4 tourneys I think good luck guys
May 4, 2007 at 3:58 pm #567873Red Wing as a co angler I placed 49th with one fish. But I will be attending the next two as well..
Red Wing was hard work to get what we did. But we got points so now I just have to sit back aqnd hope on the next two events but the next two I will be bringing my own boat and if there is a boater slot open as there was in Red Wing I am jumping on it..May 4, 2007 at 5:04 pm #567912Hey Glen and Others!
Do you think there will be any co-angler spots open for Mille Lacs? I’m kicking myself for not doing Red Wing. Thanks!Joel
May 5, 2007 at 12:46 am #568096Sign up now and you might get paired up right away. Their is normally spots open for boaters too. Alot of the locals jump in at the last moment. So if I were you I would call up Sonny and get registered as soon as you can. You can also sign up on the web site as well. The sooner the better.
May 5, 2007 at 3:20 am #568127I am fishing them all. Joel, sign up ASAP. You will be told if you are in, or how many are ahead of you. You can always beg for a boater here on IDA. There always seems to be spots open. I have not heard it has been filled yet.

May 6, 2007 at 9:01 pm #568392Count me in for all of the events… Started out about the same this year 29th lost some fish that would have helped… John I don’t think i have anymore luck left…
May 7, 2007 at 12:14 am #568439Dusty,
When you weren’t looking I rubbed my boat up against yours and took what you had left Why do you think Dave was talking to you for so long? Do you think he actually likes you? You are so gullible.
I’ll be there for the remaining two. Mille Lacs should be fun. I’ll be up there hitting her hard after opener. I don’t think I can take the madness two years in a row, so I’ll just stay down on the river for one more weekend. We’ll see you boys up there.
May 7, 2007 at 12:23 am #568441Thanks Mike and John.
I still do not understand how John zeroed considering we fished the same spot and pre-fished together. It was a brutal bite though. We worked our tales off for the six fish we caught. We may have missed a couple of larger fish, but they were on and off so quick it’s hard to tell for sure. The rods really loaded up a couple of times, so they were larger fish whatever they were.
I had a great co-angler in Dave Schultz, which certainly helped the day. We did not lose a single fish that we hooked up, and it was not an easy task. Our first fish was going crazy at the boat, and it was a real fire drill getting it in. I think she thought she was a pike. We ended up snagging all four lines and breaking them off, but we got the fish in the boat. A six lb fish is probably worth the $30 or so in tackle we lost.
May 7, 2007 at 4:24 pm #568645Nice Job Chad you were on some piggies… I pre fished that spot and we had some dandies on and came up with scales just never caught a fish and got too frustrated with the snagging… Nice work… I think i still had a little luck left considering i made the way in getting out of the lock at 2:44 and i had to weigh in at 3:00 i think i had about 20 seconds to spare… Dave Schultz is a good dude and great stick to have in the boat…
May 7, 2007 at 4:28 pm #568649You are not joking about a big scale Dusty I wish we could have atleast got to see the fish that thing came off and see the fish that came unbuttoned on us. Without a doubt a good spot and takes some boat control skill to work that area. Congrats sir you earned everything without a doubt there how many baits did you donate to the spot anyways?
May 7, 2007 at 10:30 pm #568777I lost track after 30. I left quite a few in the backchannel pulling three-ways as well. I probably lost 50-60 cranks during pre-fishing and the tournament.
May 8, 2007 at 1:56 am #568860That place SWALLOWS baits up!!! I should go scuba diving down there and pick up some baits tuckner you got a wet suit I can borrow
May 8, 2007 at 3:05 am #568904God, I would MAKE one just to see you go Scuba diving!
That’d be worth the price of admission right there!
May 8, 2007 at 1:52 pm #569021Well bring the weights guys cause I will need it to get that deep since I float like a buoy in the river. One thing is for sure is I will NEVER go under water got my own built in life jacket thats for sure
