You are correct sir – I will be there! First time on this lake, should be interesting to say the least. Where’s a good place to get a couple cold ones in Ortonville??

I was planning on fishing Traverse this weekend with my dad. Could I please get your opinions on the wind forecast on Accuweather.com? For Friday and Saturday they are predicting 20-30mph winds with 40-50mph gusts. That sounds beyond miserable to me. I am really disappointed at the thought of canceling the trip.

Good luck to everyone fishing the MTT!

Jason, the meeting at the Matador will have adult beverages available.

Looks like it could be windy and wet…

Hit the Matador up for some good food and drinks. Ryan and Nicole the owners are good friends of ours. Head over to the Big Stone Liquor store as well.

I’ll be fishing both days with the old man…Weather should make it fun, but the norm, since I’ve never been on this lake in nothing less than 20mph winds . I’m starting to think im a jinx.

Anyone have a number on how many boats are entered on Sat & Sun?

I talked to Mike H. late last week and he said about 30 boats so far but he was on the road and couldn’t give an exact count. He thought up to 50 boats was possible.

We’ll be there. First time on open water this year and with a new Warrior. It’s always “breezy” at Big Stone.

See you all there! and Good Luck to everyone!!

I would go, but my boat is going north for Sturgeon filming on LOTW.
