That was a tough tournament. Every day was different, between the temps, wind and muddy water every day we were dealing with new conditions. Wednesday was a great day to be jigging. Thrursday the lake was open and 75 boats ran South 30 miles to find water to muddy to fish. Back to the river to try to get a small limit of fish. Friday, the jig bite was just about dead because the water in the river was very muddy. I was able to handline up a limit of fish the last day but the jig bite was very tough. Unfortuately I did not make the cut but it sounds like the river really cleaned up again and in combination with no wind, the jig bite was excellent. Time to get ready for Red Wing
